Jeff Wall and Thomas Demand are two of the most influential and outstanding contemporary photographers working today.
Their works are more than a source of information; they are a source of inspiration.
These are some of their works that I found particularly interesting…
Jeff Wall – A view from an apartment (2004-5), Transparency in lightbox
I found this photograph particularly interesting because of the project ‘Inside Out’ that we will have to do as our first assignment for Advance Digital Imaging. For this project we have to photograph an interior space with a view through the exterior via a window or door.
For the same reasons, also The Destroyed Room (1978) by Jeff Wall caught my attention.

A part from these amazing photography exhibitions, the [ngv] had some really good permanent painting collections such as Emma Minnie Boyd works that remind me of the two Jeff Wall’s photographs.
